Dear NJIT Community Members,

I am both deeply saddened and gravely concerned by the actions of a violent mob attacking the United States Capitol today, as well as the deterioration of civility that has led to this moment. Today's riotous and noxious behavior, built on lies, divisiveness, and hate, requires each of us to be outpsoken as U.S. citizens strongly condeming the rhetoric and behavior that has led to today's attack and its stain on our constitution and democracy.

Dear NJIT Community Members,

NJIT is proud to celebrate Black History Month, because our university’s diversity is among its greatest strengths. As we celebrate, we continue to learn, share and declare our support for our Black colleagues. We must be allies of those who continue to be victims of racial discrimination, and we must celebrate Black culture and work diligently to eradicate bigotry.

NJIT community members,

Throughout the month of March, NJIT will be celebrating Women’s History Month. As we do so, we will highlight the successes of women at and from our university as well as the impact of women on NJIT, in our society, and throughout our world.

He most recently was the president of St. Augustine University and enjoyed a long and distinguished career in higher education as a professor and administrator. At the time he received his honorary degree from NJIT, Dr.

Today, every company is a technology company.

NJIT Community Members,

The death of George Floyd has brought us to a point of inflection throughout our country, and it has done so for multiple reasons.

Mr. Floyd's death was captured on video, so we have been forced to see a truth we would rather not believe. That video is both heartbreaking and infuriating. No decent person could watch the extermination of a helpless human being in such a callous manner without experiencing feelings of true anger and despair.
