New Jersey Institute of Technology once again finds itself in selective company in The Princeton Review’s annual guide to the best colleges and universities in the United States.

Just 14% of all of the country’s four-year institutions made the guide, “The Best 389 Colleges for 2024.” Selection is based primarily on the experiences of students — which are culled through surveys — and the featured schools are listed alphabetically.

Throughout the year, New Jersey Institute of Technology’s Career Development Services welcomed more than 500 different employers in various partnership capacities. A handful of these industry and community partners, as well as exceptional students, went above and beyond and were awarded in the office’s flagship spring ceremony.

NJIT’s Career Development Services hosted its marquee event, again besting attendance and participation numbers over its previous career fair. Taking a page out of the logistics-improvement playbook of participating companies like UPS, Johnson & Johnson, Raytheon and others, CDS implemented changes to improve candidate and employer efficiency and experience.

Charis Hwang packed a lot into her four years studying business at New Jersey Institute of Technology, including three internships and a cooperative educational experience.

That thick undergraduate resumé may explain why even before completing an accelerated master’s program, she landed a job with global consulting firm PwC. In fact, her last internship, during the summer of 2021, was at PwC, where she found a calling.
