Eleven Highlander athletic programs earned a perfect Academic Progress Rate (APR) score as the NCAA released its academic success data for the 2024-25 academic year on Tuesday.

The APR measures the academic performance of student-athletes by tracking eligibility, retention and graduation rates among scholarship student-athletes. The Highlanders posted an institutional APR average of 992.

The following programs recorded a perfect 1000 single-year APR score for 2024-25:

NJIT men's volleyball capped a perfect home season with a 14–0 record, defeating visiting Sacred Heart, 3-1, in the regular-season finale for both teams inside the Joel and Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center.

The NJIT men's volleyball swept the weekend series from visiting Charleston (WV) 3-1 Saturday afternoon in EIVA Conference men's volleyball action inside the Joel and Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center.

With the win, NJIT moves to 16-8 overall on the season, 7-3 in the EIVA. The Highlanders are one of three Division I teams undefeated at home (12-0) joining UCLA (9-0) and Maryland Eastern Shore (8-0).

NJIT, which hit .286 for the match, dropped the first set 25-17 but bounced back in the next three sets to secure the 3-1 home victory, 31-29, 25-15 and 25-22.

NJIT swept visiting Merrimack 3-0 to conclude the non-conference slate on Friday afternoon inside the Joel and Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center. NJIT (14-8 overall) won in straight sets 25-16, 26-24 and 25-19 for the Highlanders 10th win of the season at home, remaining perfect in Newark.
