This semester's lecture series from Hillier College of Architecture and Design emphasizes themes of responsibility for architects and designers in the context of current events such as COVID-19, economic inequality, global warming, political upheaval and social justice.
Hillier College is the new home to NJIT’s latest research center – the Center for Community Systems. Under the direction of Dr. Colette Santasieri, the mission of the Center for Community Systems (CCS) is to be a resource and conduit for creating thriving, sustainable, and resilient communities.

"I’ve been doing well as a UX Designer at Walmart technology working on AI & ML applications, designing chatbots & other AI related work.
It was a very fruitful time during my 2007-2012 studies at what was then NJIT's CoAD. Before, the New Jersey School of Architecture was still growing and exploring new ways to engage with the latest computer and fabrication techniques. It was great to be a part of that process. I'd like to give a special thank you to Professor Stephen Zdepski, who really helped me shape a grander view on the architecture profession as a whole.
