While Spring Commencement is on the horizon for the Class of 2019, the first wave of year-end celebrations has already begun for a special group of award-winning seniors at NJIT’s College of Science and Liberal Arts (CSLA).
Almost 100 middle school students from more than 40 schools across New Jersey recently participated in a cyber robotics coding competition held at NJIT. They were finalists in the New Jersey Cyber Robotics Coding Competition, an exciting online event in which students used a cloud-based simulation platform featuring a virtual, 3D animated robot.
On Jan. 8, 2019 (snow date Jan. 15), the New Jersey Science Olympiad (NJSO) returns to NJIT for the 13th consecutive year. The event, part of a national science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) competition, will welcome nearly 700 middle and high school students who possess both strong academic achievements and great interest in STEM fields.
