New Jersey Institute of Technology is in rarified air as it has been recognized as one of 200 colleges and universities named a Best Maker School in Higher Education by Make: magazine and Newsweek.

New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) has been ranked third in New Jersey and in the top 100 nationally in the second annual Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Ranking USA list for 2021.

More than 750 institutions across the country were considered for the ranking. At No. 90, NJIT is joined by Princeton University and Rutgers-New Brunswick as the only New Jersey institutions within the top 100.

NJIT ranked No. 39 as a Best Value College and No. 10 for Best Career Placement among public colleges and universities.

 Ellucian, the leading higher education technology solutions provider, today announced that New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) has won a 2021 Ellucian Impact Award. The university was honored for its successful digital transformation initiatives, which allowed it to pivot quickly to support students during the pandemic. NJIT will receive a $25,000 grant.
