New Jersey Institute of Technology once again finds itself in selective company in The Princeton Review’s annual guide to the best colleges and universities in the United States.

Just 14% of all of the country’s four-year institutions made the guide, “The Best 389 Colleges for 2024.” Selection is based primarily on the experiences of students — which are culled through surveys — and the featured schools are listed alphabetically.

New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) has earned 4.5 out of 5 stars in a new “Best Colleges” list released by Money.

Money evaluated 736 institutions from the more than 2,400 four-year public and private nonprofit colleges in the U.S. and focused on 24 factors in three main categories that surveys have shown are the most important to students: quality of education, affordability and alumni outcomes.

New Jersey Institute of Technology ranked 14th nationwide for its online master's degrees in computer science, according to the latest research from UniversityHQ.org.

"While good computer science careers are available for bachelor’s degree holders looking to become computer science professionals, computer science graduate degrees open up an even stronger career path," the higher education company stated.

New Jersey Institute of Technology has again earned a spot on The Princeton Review’s top 50 undergraduate schools for game design in the 2023 rankings.

The survey collected information in four areas: academics, faculty, technology, and career prospects. The company analyzed more than 40 survey data points to tally the rankings.
