Here you will find a weekly listing of updates and announcements for members of the NJIT campus community. Announcements are to be submitted through the form found at https://forms.gle/V6PBxUy5b3jkErMc8 or by your area vice president to Deric Raymond, director of content planning and intelligence, in the Office of Strategic Initiatives. Wellness and Event Center/Summit Street Crane Lift — Facilities Services
On Monday May 11, 2020 between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m., the sidewalk of Warren Street along the WEC will be closed for a crane to raise HVAC related equipment on to the roof of the WEC. If this work is postponed it will be rescheduled to the following day. Linked is the crane lift site map.
How to Work From Home With G Suite — Digital Learning Technology Support
On Thursday, May 14, DLTS is offering the NJIT community with training to help you work from home with G Suite. The workshop will be led by Jolanta Soltis and Anthony Farber and will be offered weekly from 2-3 p.m. depending on interest. The sessions will cover many of the tools that are available including: Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, how to collaborate using Google drive, and many other tips and tricks to help you be a successful and productive remote worker. At the end of each training session there will be an opportunity to ask questions and share any tips and tricks you have come up with. If you are interested in the workshop, please sign up here.
